Blow Up the Box Chronicles

It is finally December.

The last month of the year. The first month of the new liturgical calendar (Advent) for those of you sticklerrs.

But in business and planning worlds, the last month. We reflect. We evaluate where we are on our goals, we look forward to that time between Christmas Day and New Years Day when we can either decompress or be in the office when it is quiet.

We also start to look to the new year.

What do we want to accomplish in 2024?

Do we make resolutions?

I say yes! Yes to all of the above.

Between now and December 15, I am going to get my 2024 goals down on a giant piece of paper. Here’s a preview: 10 long term contracts (I am at 5 today), at least one keynote a quarter, and at least 4 productions of The Speakers Collaborative. I tell you this so that you can hold me accountable.

December 16 - January 1 I am going to close out the books on the year, wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and then enjoy some eggnog with my family.
