Looking Ahead: Big Goals for The Speakers Collaborative in 2025

This week brought a flood of conversations about 2025, especially about the exciting future of The Speakers Collaborative. It’s clear: we’re gearing up for something ambitious.

My goal for next year is bold—hosting a cohort every month, starting February 1, with 5-6 participants in each. To make that happen, I’m also aiming to secure sponsorships for every cohort.

But here’s the challenge: I can’t do it all. While I’m passionate about driving this vision forward, I’ve realized I need to focus on the 20% of tasks I excel at—like building connections and refining the program. That means it’s time to delegate the other 80%.

I’m incredibly lucky to have a fantastic part-time assistant, but for 2025, I need to grow the team. I’m looking for two extraordinary individuals:

• One to focus on lead generation, and

• One to secure sponsorships.

Empowering Veterans Through Storytelling

A decade ago, I became a certified attorney with the Veterans Administration to advocate for veterans and help them access the services they earned through their selfless service. That experience ignited my passion for ensuring that veterans receive the support they deserve for protecting our freedom.

Now, 10 years later, I am taking that mission to the next level. In 2025, The Speakers Collaborative will launch a special Veterans Storytelling Cohort. This program is designed for veterans who:

• Have successfully transitioned to civilian life and want to share their lessons,

• Have overcome mental health challenges stemming from their time in war zones, or

• Lead with excellence because of the skills honed during their service.

This cohort is completely free for participants and includes full access to group coaching sessions, professional headshots, video reels, and exposure opportunities to amplify their stories.
